This week we have been learning the sounds /o/ for octopus and /g/ for goat in phonics. In maths, we continued developing our subitising skills to 4 and explored the different ways we can make the number 4.
Our highlight of the week was definitely our trip to Cogges Farm! It linked perfectly to our focus story, The Little Red Hen. Just like the red hen, we planted seeds, ground wheat into flour, and baked some delicious buns. We also had lots of fun meeting and feeding the animals — the goats were a particular favourite!
