What a fantastic first week back! Everyone has come back rested and ready to learn. This week our class text has been Little Glow. We have been doing lots of activities linked to Diwali and fireworks. In Literacy the Busy Bees used adjectives to describe the bonfire night pictures. We have started a new unit in PE and will be exploring gymnastics in our adventures. This week we tried to make different shapes with our bodies. In Art we decorated our own rockets and used paint/glitter to create firework scenes. The Busy Bees have been comparing amounts thinking about more than/fewer than. The Bunnies have been singing Number rhymes and representing numbers in different ways. We all enjoyed Music with Heather Morgan (school chaplain) on Tuesday. As part of our Understanding the World we learned about Diwali and had the opportunity to make our own clay tealight holders.
