Busy Bees and Bunnies Class News – 12.01.24

Happy New Year. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your children. Thank you all for your very generous presents and cards with kind words, they were all very much appreciated.

It has been wonderful to welcome the children back into class and even with 2.5 weeks off, the children have settled back so well and our new bunnies have enjoyed getting to know new friends and routines. It is always so lovely to welcome new children to our school community.  This term we will be looking at ‘People who help us.  We started the topic by reading ‘Farmer Duck’ which the children really enjoyed joining in with the repetitive phrases. They’ve also had great fun playing in the Doctor’s surgery role play.   Although it’s been cold, the children have enjoyed exploring the changes in weather, looking at the ice collected in the water tray and seeing what happens when they place the ice  in the sun.

It’s been great to give out so many reading certificates this week, the children get so much pleasure from reading. Again, thank you for all of your help at home.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend.
