Busy Bees and Bunnies Class News – 19.04.24

Welcome back everyone. I hope you all had a lovely break.

The children have returned excited for the a term ahead and keen to learn. We really enjoyed looking at a wonderful Science experiment around growing. It has spurred the children on to have a go at growing their own avocado plants! We would welcome any updates on their progress!

We introduced the topic by meeting our new class caterpillars. We are going to care and watch carefully as they grow and metamorphize into Butterflies. We talked about the life cycles and will be looking at this in more detail next week.

As the weather is beginning to improve, please could we ask that children come into school with a named water bottle and a sunhat. Please could children have sun cream applied before they come to school as we tend not to go out in the afternoon and their morning application will last them until then.

Also, please could nursery and Busy Bees bring in their reading books weekly so that we can change them. A number of children said they want to change their books but don’t have them in their bags to change.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend
