Busy Bees and Bunnies Class News – 19.05.23

We have had a great week in our outdoor area, enjoying the sunshine.

This week we have spent a lot of the time planting in our outside area and in Newt Town. The children have enjoyed planting Strawberries, cucumber, rainbow carrots, parsnips and squash. They enjoyed smelling all of the herbs in Newt Town and planting their own sunflowers. A huge thank you to Ginny Gascoigne for helping the children, they had a wonderful time. We will make a rota to visit the area every afternoon to make sure it is well watered.

This week in Maths we have been looking at numbers more/less and rearranging numbers out of sequence. We were creative and used filter paper and food dye to make stained glass flowers, they look lovely when the sunlight shines through.

We ended the week with fantastic trip to Cogges Farm for Jack and the Beanstalk. Pictures to follow.

Have a lovely weekend
