What another busy week! The children are really enjoying learning lots of new sounds and spotting these sounds in their environment. It’s wonderful to see their enthusiasm. Thank you for all your help at home too. They will come home weekly with 2 new sound cards as they learn them in class.
This week we’ve been looking at ‘Lost and Found’ The children have enjoyed discussing friendships and ways we can help our friends in class, thinking about our class rules of being kind. Next week we plan to discuss memories and special journeys we’ve been on with our families. We’ve also looked at our families and why they are special to us.
The children have all enjoyed the outside space this week and have started spotting the changes in the seasons. All children will come home with ‘Treasure Autumn bag’ to collect some items showing signs of Autumn. Please could these be back in school w/c 9th October.
Thank you to those that have offered to help with the school trip to Cogges. The children will need a packed lunch and a coat. We are very excited!
