Wow what a sunny week! We have really enjoyed the sunny weather and being able to get outside for more activities. This week we have continued reading ‘The Tiger who came for tea’. We were able to summarise the story and explore the different characters feelings at different points in the story. In PE we explored moving to sea music and thinking about how creatures under the sea might move. In Maths we will exploring ‘5 and a bit’. All the children confidently chanted how we can make 6-9 using the ‘5 and a bit’ way. In Science this week we tested a range of objects to see if they were magnetic. In PSHE we continued discussing making friends and how to help others when they feel sad. In Art we used clay to make our own figures. The children learned ur and ow this week in Phonics. We were really impressed at the independent sentences the children did using our new sound.
