What an exciting week! We have been reading ‘Caterpillar and Bean’ and exploring the life cycle of a butterfly. Our topic this term is all about growing and we have lots of planting planned. In Maths we have been learning how to use a rekenrek and exploring subitising to 5. In PE we played some group games to work on teamwork and taking turns. In PSHE we talked about our bodies. Our Art focus this week was improving our cutting skills, we had to hold the scissors correctly and work through different patterns. Our writing was focused on the life cycle of a butterfly. We had to cut and stick the pictures in the correct order then add our own labels. On Friday the whole school practised our carnival song with a visiting orchestra.
