Busy Bees Class News 10.01.25

It’s so nice to see everyone safely back at school after the Christmas holidays! The Busy Bees are now in their own classroom and enjoying cracking with on with their learning. This week we have been focusing on common exception words in Phonics and writing about what we did on our holiday. In Maths we sang the five little speckled frogs and using our fingers looked at how to make 5. In PE this week we were exploring rolling and tracking the ball. We used the drawing app on the iPads to create our own self portraits. Our topic this term is People who Help Us. This week we read ‘Clothesline Clues to Jobs People Do’ and thought about all the different roles people do. Where would we be without them? We have both been so impressed at how quickly the children have settled and embraced their new space this week.
