Another lovely week in Busy Bees!
We have started our blue sounds in phonics, which we are very excited about – ‘wh’ as in wheel, and ‘ph’ as in dolphin. In maths we have been consolidating our learning of number bonds to 10- finding how many more I need to make 10.
In PSHE we have been thinking about our body and how we can respect it, we talked about going to sleep when our body is tired, having a drink when we are thirsty, and exercising to keep our bodies healthy.
Our book of the week has been ‘The Tiny Seed’ by Eric Carle. We enjoyed following the Tiny Seed’s journey and talking about what plants need to grow, and in our writing we predicted where the Tiny Seed might fall next. I am so impressed with everyone’s creativity and perseverence in their writing sessions.
We have also enjoyed exploring life cycles this week, creating flower collages, and creating our own phonics sound mats!
Have a great weekend!
