This week we have been reading ‘The Tiny Seed’. We have been thinking about what different seeds look like and what a seed needs to grow. In Art we were printing with different materials to create a sunflower picture. The bubble wrap was very effective and looked like small black seeds. In PE we worked with KS1 to practise different Sports. We all completed a writing challenge this week that was moderated by other schools in the EPA. Everyone did so well! We are all writing so clearly and independently. In Maths we have been continuing our work with rekenreks. We thought about how 5 needs 1 to make 6 and thought about how we could represent numbers higher than 10. In PSHE we thought about having respect for our bodies. Our two new sounds this week were ‘wh’ as in wheel and ‘ph’ as in dolphin. We read with our buddies and enjoyed our classroom challenges.
