It has been another busy and exciting week in Busy Bees!
In phonics, we have been learning the sounds ‘ai’ (as in train) and ‘ee’ (as in bee). The children have done a fantastic job spotting these sounds in words and practising reading them.
In maths, we have been exploring doubles and noticing patterns – all doubles are even numbers!
Our text of the week has been The Tower Bridge Cat. We have loved bringing the story to life in lots of different ways. The children particularly enjoyed role-playing the Queen’s birthday, making a special collar for Bella and designing their own UK flags.
Our highlight of the week was definitely our visit to Little City. The children had an amazing time exploring all the different roles. We had vets caring for animals, doctors helping patients, mechanics fixing vehicles, shopkeepers running their shops, and much more. It was such a great morning!
Have a fantastic weekend!
