Busy Bees Class News 14.03.25

This week we have been reading ‘The Tower Bridge Cat’. We decided to design a postcard to show where Bella the cat had been. In Maths this week we have been sorting objects by different criteria. On Wednesday we explored odd and even numbers. In PE we explored playing against a partner in a series of mini games. We have started doing PE on the big playground and all the pupils are enjoying having more space. In Phonics we learned ‘ai’ as in train and ‘ee’ as in bee. On Thursday we had a Science visitor in school. Jim Coleman, a mechanical engineer led a collective worship and a workshop for us to take part in. We all loved protecting our ‘humpty dumpty’ egg from the cheeky rabbit driver! The children had to design a way to keep the egg from cracking. In PSHE we thought about the food we eat and how that effects our body. In Art we tried our hand at painting to music. It was lovely to see all our different creations. We all enjoyed our classroom challenges this week!
