This week we have been reading ‘Pattan’s Pumpkin’. We really enjoyed this story and talked about things we have grown. In Maths we were exploring a number track and where numbers 1- 10 would go. 3 is less than 5 so would go before 5 on the number track. In PE we starting thinking about Sports Day and tried out some races. As part of our India topic we tried out some Indian snacks. We all tried something new and decided we love poppadoms! In Phonics we learned the sounds ‘air’ and ‘ure’. We are working hard to learn these trickier trigraphs. We enjoyed some painting this week and practised common exception words in our classroom challenges.
