Busy Bees Class News 17.7.26

Our Final Week in Busy Bees 🐝

What a wonderful way to end an incredible year together!

This week, the children enjoyed their transition morning, spending time in their new classroom and meeting their new teachers. They came back full of excitement and are already looking forward to becoming Hedgehogs in September!

On Wednesday, they had a lovely craft morning where the children had the chance to spend time in their new classroom.

We also took part in the Year 6 Leavers’ Service, where the children created beautiful portraits of the Year 6 pupils to celebrate them as they prepare for their next adventure. It was a lovely opportunity to reflect on our school community and wish our oldest children the very best.

As we come to the end of the school year, I couldn’t be prouder of everything the children have achieved. They have all made such fantastic progress, not only in their learning but also in their confidence, independence, kindness and friendships. Watching them grow throughout the year has been an absolute privilege, and I know they are more than ready for the exciting challenges that await them in year 1!

I will miss every single one of them so much. I feel incredibly lucky to have spent this year with such a wonderful group of children and to have had the support of such kind and encouraging families. Thank you so much for your thoughtful cards, gifts and kind words, they are so appreciated!

Have a fantastic summer holiday, I can’t wait to hear all about your adventures in September. Good luck, Busy Bees, you are all going to be amazing Hedgehogs! 🦔💛
