Phew a hot and busy week! This week we have been reading ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. We really enjoyed planting our own bean in cotton wool and we plan to watch it sprout as it grows. In Maths this week we have been exploring number bonds and how we can show these on a die frame. In PE we played games with the Nursery practising teamwork and game rules. We also join KS1 on Friday to practise for Sports Day. We created our own bracelets in Art using our threading skills. On Thursday we had a very exciting visit from Pantosaurus! He helped us learn all about pants and how to keep ourselves safe. In Phonics we learned about the split digraph a-e. In PSHE we explored healthy and un healthy foods linking to keeping our bodies safe.
