Busy Bees Class News 20.3.26

We have had such a lovely, busy week this week!

In phonics, our sounds of the week have been ‘igh’ (as in light) and ‘oa’ (as in boat). In maths, we have been focusing on number bonds to 10, using ten frames to help us represent and understand them.

Our book of the week has been The Queen’s Hat, which sparked lots of imaginative thinking. We loved predicting where the hat might fly to next, some of our ideas included the Shard, Australia and even the moon!

In RE, we have started learning about Easter, focusing on Palm Sunday and the events of Holy Week. The children have shown great curiosity and respect during these discussions.

We were also incredibly proud of the children during our SIAMS visit, they were a real credit to the school.

To top it all off, we’ve made the most of the sunny weather, enjoying lots of outdoor play and sharing stories together in the sunshine.

Have a great weekend!
