Another week of fun! We are very settled in our new classroom and are really cracking on with our focused learning times. This week we have been reading the ‘Red Bottomed Robber’, when we came in to class on Monday the messy gang had made a mess in our room! We have been exploring how police help others and the tasks they do. In Maths we have been discussing more than/fewer than. In PE this week we thought about how to work with others and how to dribble with the ball. Everyone did some fantastic writing on Monday thinking about who committed the crime! We are all working on starting to write more independently using our sounds and our common exception words. In PSHE we talked about a time when we didn’t give up and we achieved a goal. We have been really impressed with lots of children gaining reading certificates this week! Keep up all the lovely reading at home. We have also set up a new birdwatch area in the classroom to take part in the Big Birdwatch this week.
