Busy Bees Class News 27.3.26

We have been getting into the Easter spirit in class and have had such a busy week! The children have enjoyed making Easter cards, creating tasty Easter nests, taking part in our special church service, and of course, the highlight for many—our Easter egg hunt!

On Wednesday, we also held our Science Fair, and it was fantastic to see the range of lovely projects created by the children. They were so proud to share their work, and it was wonderful to celebrate their creativity and curiosity.

In phonics, we have been learning the short ‘oo’ sound (as in book) and the long ‘oo’ sound (as in moon). The children have been working hard to recognise and use these sounds in their reading and writing.

In maths, we have been exploring shapes and repeating patterns. The children have had lots of fun creating their own patterns using a variety of objects and colours.

We hope you all have a wonderful and restful Easter break!
