Busy Bees Class News 31.01.25

This week we have been reading ‘LifeSavers’ which has a short story about lots of different jobs people do. We have also been celebrating Chinese New Year by writing Chinese numbers, making clay snakes and decorating lanterns. In Maths this week we have been exploring numbers beyond 5 and how these relate to five e.g.. five and one more is six. In PE this week we have been working on throwing and catching the ball with a partner. The children remembered the term tracking and were able to explain what it meant! We have all written a thank you card for somebody in the community this week. Some of us wrote to Mrs Oliver for all the hard work she does in the office! In PSHE we all set a new learning goal and thought about how we can work towards it. We carried out an unplugged (not using technology) activity in Computing this week. Using the song head, shoulders, knees and toes we wrote our own algorithm with body card pictures.
