We have also impressed ourselves — and our adults — with our handwriting! We have been working hard on our concentration, pencil control and letter formation. It has been fantastic to see how much care and effort the children are putting into their writing.
In maths, we have been so excited to count all the way to 100! We have been looking carefully for patterns and using a range of resources and visual representations to develop and extend our mathematical understanding. We have loved spotting numbers, making connections and sharing what we notice.
We also discovered that art isn’t just drawing with pencils and painting! This week, we became real craftspeople, creating with a purpose and exploring different materials, techniques and ideas. It has been wonderful to see the children getting stuck in, being creative and proudly sharing their finished creations.
