Hedgehog Class News 07.02.25

I can’t believe we are in our penultimate week of term.

We started off our week with buddy reading, which we fully enjoyed with Owl class.

We have been busy busy planning our non-chronological report, ready to publish and share next week!

In maths, year 1 have been looking at subtraction facts, and year 2 have been introduced to their two times table.

In Geography, we explored different animals that live in Antarctica, and found out that penguins and polar bears don’t live in the same place!

In Science we explored food chains and looked at the roles of different animals in these chains. We discovered producers start a food chain and can produce their own energy from the sun!

In RE we discussed whether we enjoyed doing things alone or together, and discussed why we think Muslims pray together in a Mosque.

In PE we learnt the skill of marking an opponent as a defending technique.
