We ended our week with an egg-citing challenge! We had to design a ‘nest’ for a weak egg, which would protect it from a fall onto a hard surface. We learnt about materials which absorb force and then picked materials and packed-up our eggs. Unfortunately, the first drops were unsuccessful and we had lots of smashed eggs. We watched a video of a bird making a nest and noticed that we needed to wrap our materials more tightly around the eggs and packed out our bags with more soft materials.
