Hedgehog class have had a busy and creative final week of term. We have published our non-chronological reports – we hope you found them very informative! We consolidated all of our maths learning so far this term (Year 1 – addition and subtraction, Year 2 – multiplication). We have thoroughly enjoyed our art week, focusing on our drawing skills. We explored using lines to create the effect of texture in our work, we then looked at Quentin Blake, the famous illustrator. We looked at different illustrations and focused on how we could change the features of our characters’ faces to represent different expressions and emotions. Finally, we became real illustrators and designed our own book character and created a concertina book to tell a story. I hope you have a great and restful half term.
