I can’t believe this is our last class post of the year! We’ve had so much fun this term and the children have all worked incredibly hard. I hope that you enjoyed our Nativity performance earlier this week, we were all so proud and I think you’ll agree it was truly magical. We have been having alot of fun this week, on Wednesday we worked with the Year 1s to design a chair for Baby Bear, which was much trickier than it looked! On Thursday Mrs Mckay led an exciting MFL Day all about Benin in West Africa, the children enjoyed learning all about their culture and language. We hope this has gotten them excited for our new Africa topic next term. Today, we had an exciting visit from Eynsham Fire Service, who spoke to us all about modern day firefighting, we really appreciated them taking the time out of their busy day to come and see us. Of course, we continued working hard in Maths throughout the week and have really seemed to master addition and subtraction. We will move on to multiplication and division in the New Year. I hope that you all have a safe and relaxing Christmas, however you are spending it. Next week, there will be a few fun Christmassy activities to get us in the festive mood to start our holidays!
