Our first full week of 2025 done! As always, we have been working very hard.
In English we have been retelling our story of ‘The Great Explorer’, by sequencing our events and retelling it in first person.
In Maths, year 1 have been investigating place value and teen numbers. Year 2 have been exploring money – looking at pounds and pence and finding amounts of money.
In Geography, we recapped our knowledge on continents and oceans, with the help of our favourite songs!
In Science we have been looking at living things, things that are dead, and things that have never been alive. We went on a walk and classified items we found into these categories.
In RE, they investigated different features inside of a Mosque and why these features are important for Muslims.
