We have worked really hard on finishing our character descriptions of ‘Etho’, from our class text ‘On Sudden Hill’. We are so impressed with the final pieces, the children have thought about all of the features that they have learnt over the past two weeks and their writing is bursting with similes, adjectives and ambitious vocabulary! In Maths, we have been learning how to add and subtract where an exchange is required, we have found this a bit tricky but have been using dienes and place value counters to support us. We had a very fun Science lesson, learning about what humans and animals need to survive and stay healthy, at the end of the lesson we tested our knowledge of what a healthy nutritious meal might look like and created healthy meal plates, they looked very yummy!
