Hedgehog Class News 18.07.25

As we reach the end of the school year, we’ve been looking back on everything we’ve done—and what a year it’s been!

We’ve had some fantastic trips that brought our learning to life. We visited the Witney Museum to explore our local history and learn more about the Witney blankets, spent a sunny day at Harcourt Arboretum spotting plants and enjoying nature, and had a brilliant time becoming explorers at the History of Science Museum in Oxford. The children were curious, enthusiastic and full of wonder on every trip—we have been so proud of them!

Throughout the year, the children have worked incredibly hard. We’ve seen so much progress in every area, and it’s been especially lovely to see how far our Year 2s have come in the two years we’ve had with them. Every single child has grown in confidence, independence and kindness, and myself and Mrs Bungay know they’re ready for their next step.

We’d like to wish all the children the very best as they move on to their new teachers and new adventures. We’ll miss you, but we know you’ll be amazing!

A huge thank you to all our parents and carers for your support, encouragement and kindness this year. It really has made a difference.

Have a wonderful summer break!
