We have had a very unusual week this week, with Hedgehog class participating in BikeAbility! The children spent 2 days working with their instructors and cycling both around the playground and around the local area. They learned lots of key skills to help them be able to ride their bikes safely; see the back of the children’s certificates for a more detailed summary of their strengths and targets. This week was also shrove Tuesday and we learned all about the story of shrove Tuesday with Reverend Jo, before enjoying some pancakes as a class in the afternoon. In Maths, we have continued our learning on fractions, including how to compare and add fractions. In English, we have been finishing our extended writes based around our class book, Cosmic: the children really enjoyed creating obstacles for the protagonists Liam and Florida to overcome.
