Year 5 have shown great maturity and flexibility this week as they have continued to work hard in all subjects. Their art work in the style of Etienne Trouvelot is developing extremely well. On Monday afternoon, Year 5 joined together with Year 6 for a Science lesson in the hall and learned about what causes day and night (the rotation of the Earth on its axis) and what causes seasons (the tilt of the Earth). Our Geography this week involved learning about Ordnance Survey maps and we focused on Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), one of the significant mountains in the UK.
