And we are halfway through the term! These weeks are flying by.
We have had another busy week.
In English we have been starting looking at writing a diary entry. We have looked at the features of a diary and have started using these in our writing. For example, using sentences in the first person, and in the past tense. We have thought of some fantastic sentences!
In Maths we have been looking at addition. Using part-whole models, tens frames and our number bonds to 10 to solve problems.
In Science we investigated the stretchiness of different materials. We stretched and measured and recorded our findings.
In History we learnt all about the Industrial Revolution! Blimey. We learnt that machines were introduced in order for the Witney blankets to be made easier and quicker. We looked at lots of photographs of the old and new machinery and discussed things that changed and things that stayed the same.
In RE we have been looking at how Christians believe that God is forgiving, and answered the question: why is it important to forgive someone?
We also had some visitors on Tuesday! We had Owl class come and read with us, which we all enjoyed very much.
Have a great weekend.
