This half-term has flown by! As ever, I am so proud of the work the children have achieved this past term – their progress has been incredible. Here’s what we’ve been up to in our last week:
This week in English, we have finally published our non-chronological reports, using all of our wonderful sentences from our planning, and writing it out in our best handwriting. It was a pleasure to share them with you all during parent’s evening.
Our budding scientists used the knowledge that they have gained this term to decide on the best location within the school to plant a bulb in order for it to thrive. After careful consideration and observation, they’ve planted bulbs in the chosen area and we look forward to seeing how well they grow!
This week in art, our young artists have unleashed their imaginations, collaborating with Year 1 to create a stunning 3D spider sculpture.
Finally in RE, we have been exploring the similarities and differences between Judaism and Christianity. Through thoughtful discussions and reflective activities, they’ve been gaining insights into the beliefs, practices, and traditions of these two major world religions, fostering a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity and religious understanding.
As always, thank you for your continued support and involvement, I hope you all have a fantastic half term break with lots of rest (and reading!).
