Hedgehogs Class News 26.01.24

What a busy week we have had. It has been a fantastic last week with Mrs Howell, we will miss her all greatly, but wish her all the best in her teaching journey!

Our school trip to Pitt Rivers on Monday was absolutely fantastic. We were all so impressed with how sensible and respectful they were in public, and how interested and inquisitive they were with the museum staff! We got to hold lots of artefacts, and learnt lots of interesting facts about all of the different countries in Africa.

We have also done lots of great learning in our other subjects too:

In RE, we tried Challah bread, and looked at the traditions of Shabbat.

In computing we wrote some instructions for our beebots to follow – we tried and tested and edited our instructions to make our beebots travel in a square.

In science we have been carrying on looking at plants. This week our focus was on what plants need to grow, and asked the question: would a plant be able to grow in the dark?
