We have had another great week this week.
In Maths:
Year 1 have been adding and making doubles!
Year 2 have been adding and subtracting 1 digit numbers from 2 digit numbers!
In English we have been looking at creating adverbs with the suffix -ly and using chronological order to order our morning. We will be writing our diary entry next week!
In History we looked at the different countries that bought Witney blankets and what they used them for.
In Computing we practised logging on and did a bit of online safety.
In Science we investigated how to strengthen materials. Mrs Tingley helped us change the strength of paper by folding it. We investigated which fold made the paper the strongest.
In Music we recapped our knowledge of pitch and tempo and did a bit of Just Dance too.
In PE we joined with the rest of the school to practise our jumping skills. We used skipping ropes, hoops and hopscotch to practise these skills. We then had a whole school game of hide and seek which we all absolutely loved.
