Hedgehogs Newsletter 4.12.25

What a festive and exciting week we’ve had in Hedgehogs!

We have been practicing lots for our nativity, and the children have been working so hard to learn their lines, songs, and actions. The costumes have been absolutely amazing—thank you to everyone who has provided something special. The children are looking wonderful and are getting more confident every day. We can’t wait to share the performance with you!

This week we also had a very cheeky visitor… Keith the Elf!
Keith has been busy causing Christmas mischief in our classroom. He decorated the room beautifully, left us a lovely letter, and every morning the children have been excited to see what he’s been up to overnight. There have been lots of giggles as we spot any changes around the room!

A huge thank you to all the parents who have kindly brought in a book for our Bookvent. Each day, one child gets to choose a wrapped book from under the tree, unwrap it, and enjoy listening to the story with the whole class. It has been such a magical and cozy addition to our day, and the children are absolutely loving it.

We have also been completing some assessments this week and we are incredibly proud of our Year 1s and Year 2s. They have shown brilliant focus, effort, and resilience throughout. Well done, Hedgehogs!

Thank you for your continued support during this busy festive season.
We’re looking forward to another wonderful week ahead!
