Wow what a first week back we have had! And welcome back! We have new faces and a new classroom and I have been so proud of how well we have all adjusted to these great big changes.
We started our short week off with our introduction of our brand new topic for this term: Witney Blankets. We started a brand new book in English: My Two Blankets. We read it and discovered that the main character, Cartwheel, used her blanket as a safe place when she felt scared. We were then challenged to use our blankets as something completely different. We had superhero capes, invisibility cloaks, picnic blankets, and even a sausage roll!
We also started our other subjects. This term we are:
In science we are learning about different materials.
In music we are learning about pitch and tempo.
In RE we are learning about what Christians believe God is like.
In PE we are learning fundamental skills and team building skills.
We have lots of exciting things in store for the coming weeks, and I’m excited to see what this year brings for us all!
