What a glorious week of sunshine we have had. Thank you to everyone who sent their children in with sunhats; we have really needed them. One highlight of the week has been Bikeability for Year 5. We have had two fantastic instructors who have given the children some great training in riding their bikes safely on the roads. The hope is that this will enncourage the children to cycle more both as a hobby and, maybe in the future, as a means of transport. Perhaps some of you will be cycling with your children over the Bank Holiday weekend and can see the progress they have made? Meanwhile, Year 6 have worked extremely hard at honing their skills in preparation for their SATs. It is always encouraging to see their confidence grow and all that they have learned come together at this time of year. I hope you all have a lovely three days before we return to school on Tuesday.
