On Wednesday 30th September, Year 6 took part in a Junior Citizens Trust visit. Here they took part in a range of interactive safety scenarios designed to help them recognise and deal with potential dangers in everyday life. The children explored important topics such as fire safety, home dangers, road, rail and water safety, internet safety, bullying and personal protective awareness. They also had the chance to practise the recovery position and even make a 999 call in a simulated emergency. Each scenario provided realistic, hands-on experiences to ensure pupils feel confident, informed, and prepared to respond safely if faced with similar situations in real life.
