Owl Class has been a very happy and focussed place this week as we have tackled some challenging skills in Maths and English. This has been leavened by our new class book, ‘Who Let the Gods Out?’, and we will soon be writing a newspaper report based on one of the events in the novel. We have enjoyed the start of our Science topic of Electricity and also a module of Hockey in PE. Now that swimming has ended we have Mandarin every week and this week the children have been learning to write the characters for numbers, with the promise of painting Chinese calligraphy later in the term.
