It has been lovely to see the children return after half term, including welcoming a new member to the class. In our four day week, we have had our first swimming lesson of the year and have taken part in ‘Vision into Action’ workshops, creating lyrics for a school song. In Maths, we have begun to tackle fractions while in English we are working towards writing a prequel to our very popular class book from last term, ‘Once’ by Morris Gleitzman. It has been great to see a number of children keen to read the follow-on novels in this series. In History, we were researching the four servicemen commemorated on the village war memorial and will be sharing our findings with the whole school at our Remembrance Day event next week.
