What a week we have had!
A highlight for many was an eye-opening trip to the Museum of Oxford, where we discovered more about how the development of transport influenced the way Oxford grew through the centuries. We then walked through some of the older districts of the city, noticing the city wall, the iconic buildings that are still purposefully used by the university today, and the contrast between buildings from different historical periods. Our traffic survey certainly produced very different results from the one conducted in Stanton Harcourt!
On World Book Day on Thursday, we celebrated our love of reading. We dressed up as a fabulous range of book characters and were able to convince our friends to read some of the books we most adore. During the week we were also able to meet the author of the novel Boy v Reality, James Fox, asking him questions about the excitement and challenges faced by authors. Here is the link to the book that many pupils asked for:

Jungle Jonathan literally brought science to life on Friday morning with his incredible workshop. We were able to handle some amazing animals, experiencing them in a way that we otherwise never would have! https://jonathansjungleroadshow.co.uk/
