Owl Class have continued to show great pride and enthusiasm throughout this week’s learning.
In English, we have been exploring the importance of using dialogue to help advance a plot, rather than simply adding it into a story. Through role play, graphic novels and detailed planning, we developed our understanding of how conversations between characters can build tension, reveal emotions, and move a narrative forward. Using these ideas, we have written narratives that we are all extremely proud of. It has been wonderful to see such creativity, imagination and careful thought in our writing.
With at least one inter-school cricket match coming up, we have been developing our confidence and accuracy when fielding, focusing on returning the ball quickly and efficiently to the bowler. We have worked hard on our teamwork, communication, and reaction skills, and it has been fantastic to see everyone encouraging one another during practice. We are looking forward to putting these skills into action in our upcoming matches!
