In English this week, we have been learning how to build humour in writing, using our class book, Who Let the Gods Out?, as a model for doing this. We have thought about repetition of sentence structures, escalating the seriousness of events and following a clear episodic pattern. Next week, we will be creating our own writing, building humour through repeated patterns. In Maths we have been comparing fractions looking at both numerators and denominators and in History we have been learning about Alexander the Great and his brilliant but short-lived career. We have also begun to turn our thoughts to our end of term Christingle service.
