What a lovely return to school we have had this week! Year 6 children have re-engaged enthusiastically with algebra in our maths lessons. In English we are working on writing a biography of a significant scientist in the field of evolution and in history, we have begun to learn about Boudica’s rebellion against the Roman invaders. Mandarin has re-started after a break last half term, and we have had the first of our cooking lessons, making a delicious soup which I hope your enjoyed at home. We had a very helpful visit from Mrs Bexon of Bartholomew School, who talked with the children about the move up to secondary school. However, all of this has been eclipsed by the excitement of the Leavers’ Hoodies arriving and being presented in a special whole school gathering on Tuesday afternoon. It was lovely to see the joy on the faces of children throughout the school as they shared in the delight of the Year 6s.
