Happy New Year!
Thank you so much for all the thoughtful cards and generous gifts — they were truly appreciated. It has been lovely to return to school greeted by flurries of snow and lots of smiles.
We began the term by thinking about the futures we would like to create: where we might live, the hobbies we would enjoy, and the qualities we would like others to see in us. This motivation then led us to explore how we can work towards achieving our dream lifestyles.
To embed our understanding of how to write clear scientific explanations, we investigated how periscopes are constructed and used — a fun and challenging start to the term. We are now looking forward to applying this knowledge when writing our own science explanations.
In maths, we are continuing to develop our understanding of multiplication and division of fractions.
We are excited for the term ahead!
