It has been lovely to welcome back all the children this week and to embark on our term of Earth and Space. Thank you to all the parents who bought their child a copy of ‘Cosmic’. We have started reading it together and are already enjoying the style and premise of the book. In Music, we are beginning a unit based on Fingal’s Cave by Felix Mendelssohn, thinking about volume, texture and pitch. We have enjoyed getting out and playing hockey and netball, despite the cold weather – please remember PE kits on Wednesdays and Fridays. Have a lovely weekend, and I look forward to seeing everyone on Monday when we will have our first Science lesson on the Solar system.
