We have been making links with our previous historical learning by creating timelines of past topics. We were surprised to discover that the Ancient Greek period overlapped with the Ancient Egyptians, the Iron Age, and the Romans. This helped us begin considering how life in one period could be similar to other times we are more familiar with.
In science, we have been learning about the double circulatory system of blood flow. We explored the relationship between the heart and the lungs and the important role they play in providing our blood cells with the oxygen they need.
In maths, we have been exploring the power of ten, developing our understanding of place value and the relationships between numbers.
