This week, the main focus for the production has been learning the songs. The class is doing really well with this, grasping some complex melodies. In English, we have completed our journalistic writing and are now beginning our next piece of narrative writing. A highlight of the week was Buddy Reading with Hedgehog Class on Tuesday. Year 6’s zoo projects are going well, with the children now wrestling over how much to charge for entrance – enough to make a profit but not so much that people don’t visit. Meanwhile, Year 5 are becoming more confident converting units of measure. We have started our Relationships and Sex Education this week and all the children were mature and respectful in the sessions. Year 6 also had a visit from Ms Elder at Bartholomew School to help prepare them for next year. Please continue to support your child with learning their lines and the songs for the play.
