Owl Class News 13.10.22

This week has seen some fantastic effort with writing as the children have written stories about Rose Blanche trying to rescue a child from the concentration camp. They have used a wide range of techniques to build tension such as cutting between two scenes to show imminent disaster. In Maths, we have been grappling with factors and multiples and have been becoming increasingly confident finding common multiples and common factors. On Tuesday, we went to church and took part in the school Harvest service, singing ‘We plough the fields and scatter’ with great style. This week we also had our elections for School Council and Harry topped the poll following a very confident speech. We are still really enjoying the stories and artefacts that children are bringing in from their families, related to World War II. Please do keep them coming!
