A real highlight this week has been completing our teddy waistcoats in DT. The children have worked so hard at the individual details and Mrs Tingley and I had a lovely time looking through them all. In Science, we were learning about 3- and 4-stage insect life cycles, and the difference between having a nymph strage and a larva then pupa stage. We have written some lovely character descriptions in English and have continued working with Fractions in Maths. On Thursday, I was impressed with how confident the children were when singing a counter-melody to ‘The White Cliffs of Dover’. With only a week to go, we are still working hard to complete everything including finding out how our class book (‘Friend or Foe’) ends, but we are looking forward to the fun of Christmas Dinner and Christingle in the final week of term.
